My company recently changed from utilizing tape to disk based backup
inside BackupExec. In the past, I've just told BackupExec to perform a
full backup and overwrite the tape at the beginning of the window and
to append incremental backups for the remainder.
Doing this with the new disk based config works, but old incremental
backups based on the now overwritten full backup remain in the restore
list. Erasing the tapes and then inventorying them removes these
entries from the list.
How to set this up so these entries are automatically cleared when the
full backup is overwritten?
