Hello NG,

i`ve a big problem with Veritas Backup Exec.
We have 15 jobs defined which worked well until yesterday.
The first symptom was, that the last job hang with the status 99%, but the
medium was issued. I tried to cancel the job, but nothing happens. Also no
state notication appears. (in this case, "remove medium" should be shown)
I don`t know why, but it wasn`t possible to kill the three processes or
process tree? (bengine.exe, beremote.exe,beserver.exe)
So i decided to restart the server. After that everything seems to be OK.

Today same situation but on an other position. It happens before we have to
make the first medium change.
The medium is issued and veritas beackup shows: "loading medium" (i dont
know the exact translation)
A strange thing is, that no notifications about the other successfull jobs
were shown. Only in the jobhistory....

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Andrew
