A friend turned me on to skype's large file ez/fast transfer capability

(perhaps such ability comes from skype founder's previous experience
with large p2p file xfers as developers of kazaa <g> )

I would like to store my retrospect backup files that i save on an
external hd nightly, offsite by sending a zipped version via skype --
as the current backup files total 31 GIG, appreciate any suggestions
for zipping such large files to enable quick online xfer via skype

Tx, please cc any posting here to netcommuner () yahoo

I like 7 zip for compression. It's superior:
http://www.7-zip.org/
It compresses much better than rar.
