Author Backup Software to use with a Tape Loader

Hi, I'm Andrea from Italy.
I've bought an used and quite old (y 2000) SCSI Tape Loader unit (6 DDS4
Tapes) and now I need a software to use it.

I don't need a complex software, the functions of the XP's backup option
are enough for me, but unfortunately this software doesn't manage
automatically the tape change during write/read.

So my first request is the automation in the managment of the 6 tapes. The
other request is that this software HAS to be as cheeper as possible and as
light (form my PC) as possible. I've tried demo versions of arcserve and
backup exec and they work very good but both of them are so expensive (for
me) and so heavy (for my pc)

Does it exist a software that could satisfy my requests?

Thanks for every suggestion

Regards
Andrea

Tapeware is able to manage automatically the tape change? Are you sure?
What version the 7, the 7 Server, the 8 Standard or the 8 Advanced?

site i didn't understand that tapeware should work for me..

Have a good year too!
Andrea
