Good morning everybody, I'm looking for a free backup software for
Linux able to do a sector-by-sector copy of an entire partition (like
Acronis True Image for Windows, which allows you to recover partitions
by booting from a Linux Live CD). I know that there are 'dd' and
'partimage' for doing images of partitions, but
- Partimage doesn't allow you to create an image of the current root
partition (Acronis True Image can copy the current C:\ partition,
while Windows is running).
- Anyway, both tools don't allow you to create incremental images,
where only the sector which have changed from the last backup are
memorized (Acronis True Image can do that).
Is there any tool like this?
Thanks a lot
