Two Backup Exec installs pointing to one server - can it be done?

I'm working on a remote storage project, and we're constrained to
backup exec 10d. BUX is on our backup server, and is backing up some
of the NAS. The remote server has CPS on it, and should be pulling
data from the NAS. The problem here is that it just doesn't want to
pair.

The NAS is 64 bit, and so a regular push will not do. I tried to
install the client manually, but it's allready installed. Right now
it's recognized, but refuses to pair.

Anyone know if this is even possible to do?
