I'm looking to purchase software to create periodic images of my main
hard drive (including OS).....an image which I can easily restore in
case of main hard disk failure.

I'm basically lazy and don't relish the job of reinstally the OS and
all my applications.

Last time I had to rebuild the main hard drive, it took on the order
of 36 hours by the time I had all the applications restored.

I don't really need daily data backup capability for this software
since I'm already doing this with my Maxtor USB drive and software.

Thanks,

Wes
