How do I view the files stored in a non-partition Acronis backup?

How do I restore certain files only?

(Acronis True Image Workstation v. 9.1)

I have only used ATI for 1 day, just heard about it and downloaded v10
yesterday.

You can right-click on the archived file and then MOUNT the backup to a
virtual drive from there you can open explorer and browse the virtural
drive like any other drive and just copy and past to your heart's
content.

Works pretty good from what I can tell.

Well done <Ralph>, at least you`ve read the help files <g>.
That`s more than the OP did.

It says I can only mount the file if it contains a partition.

In that case when you right-click on the backup file don't select
"Mount" but select "Recover" instead OR open TI and Select recovery
there, proceed through the wizard and you will be able to deselect
everything and then drill down to the specific file/directory you want
to recover. You can recover to the Original directory OR to a separate
directory. It appears that you did a "My Data" backup and not an image
backup which is why mounting the backup is error out BUT you can still
recover the files you need, I just tried it and it works great!
