I am trying to backup ~ 30GB of Music on my PC to a USB 2.0 external drive.
TI 10 keeps failing stating that it was not able to write the file. Does
this have something to do with the classic Write Delay Issue? Are there any
workarounds for this? I want to keep the music on my primary drive since I
get better performance in Media Center.

Thanks in Advance,

I only use TI for complete Image creation, but...
If you wish to backup your music folders, I`d suggest you
try SyncBack (freeware).
I use it for folder/file BU, and it`s excellent.

I have no problems backing up any file with TI10 and all my backups
are to external drives, USB2 or Firewire.

Must be an issue with my BIOS & the way it reacts with the USB Device.

You can turn off the write caching. In My Computer, right click any
drive and choose Properties, then the hardware Tab. Highlight the
drive of concern and choose Properties again, then the Policies tab.
