| Let me be brief.
Our backups keep failing, we had a critical issue with our server and
restored it, but there were some issues with SQL that prevented BE
from installing.
We got it to install finally, however our backups are failing, here is
the error i get from a test run *from the log file
Capacity Check Status : Failed
>From what i can tell it's telling me that it can't read the drive or
tape.
It's been inventoried, and we've tried a few tapes.
here are the critical specs.
Version 10d for SBS
SBS Server 2003
Quantum SDLT320
This setup worked fine before, but it dosn't now.
I just re-installed the drivers for the tape drive, and i'm running
another test right now.
Anyone know what this means and what i can do to fix it?

I'm having the same issue, and its keeping me up nights with the HODs
of the company down my neck the whole time cos none of their stuff is
backing up. Its the most out of the blue thing. 1 day they work
perfectly and the next day everything is screwed.
I'm running SBS 2003
Version 10d
Sony AIT2 tape drive on a Supermicro Xeon Server
