Cataloging Issues withVertas Backup Exec v 10.0 Rev 5520

I am having issues cataloging a previous backup
Each Time I try to access the backup archive\file
I get the following error message:

This set cannot be ctaalogued because the media containing
the catalog data is missing.

I wish to know how I can sove this issue and perform a restore.
