| I had a question on the support of Snapshot technologies on Windows.
EMC has something called Symmetrix Integration Utility (SIU) on Windows
which is necessary for creating consistent copies of the production data
using TimeFinder. They say this utility is required to unmount volumes
and lock it so that Windows wont corrupt it by remounting the BCV
to the OS using Plug-n-Play.
Do other array vendors, specifically FlashCopy has some such utility ?
Thanks in Advance,
Harish
