StorageWorks SWXRC-05: need help with console terminal pinouts
|

| Hi folks!
I just acquired a used StorageWorks 410(?) RAID array for my home
network. It's got an SWXRC-05 controller card in it.
The card has a six-pin/six-cond RJ-12 jack for its console terminal.
Unfortunately I didn't get the console adapter cable with it.
Does anyone have the pinouts for this connector?
Any other technical information, bits of advice, war stories, etc. about
this unit or its similar siblings would also be appreciated.
Thanks!

Ask in comp.sys.dec or comp.os.vms.

.... which is, as I've discovered, also called an HSZ40 controller.

Luckily DEC wiring prevails! A standard BN24-H style cable, with a
plain RJ-12 instead of an MMJ, "just works" to connect to my terminal
server (DECserver 900-TM with RJ-45).
