Has anyone had a try at SAN FC/IP replication over a DS-3 with something
like 50ms of latency? We are wondering what the throughput in megabits/bytes
has been...it seems that the best way to go might be to use a switch that
bypasses IP and goes with a proprietary protocol....

Are you doing sync or async replication? 50ms for async is not bad,
for sync it's a problem. Personally I shy away from proprietary
whenever possible.
