I just bought 2 a5000 arrays, 16 HBAs, 4 hubs for my home lab. I have 10 servers which i have successfully managed to boot from SAN on a couple. But Im trying to figure out how to manage the LUNs on the SAN using Linux.

I dont have any sun servers and run all redhat9. HBAs are lp7000E.

I want to setup db clusters and web clusters. Looking at Virtualizing the Whole setup as well. (VMWARE)

Any hints or tips on how I can copy Luns from one HD to another and what application to do so. Virtualizing the whole environment allows me to restore OS in real time due to security issues or just want to test upgrades on an OS and its reaction to environment.

I want to have 4 servers attached to each array at all times. I will run clusters in each HD loop. (2 loops per array)

Thanks in advance!
