Greetings all
My objective is to command an Emulex FC HBA to send out a TPRLO to the
target. One way that I know of sending a TPRLO is send scsi bus reset
to the Emulex HBA and then it converts it into TPRLO and sends it to
the target.
The problem that I am facing is the unavailability of a direct tool
that will issue a scsi bus reset to the FC HBA.
Is there any tool/method known to send a bus reset/TPRLO to the FC
HBA?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
Sangdil

I think some of the Emulex utilities (LPNT type things) allow you to
do that in Windows.
Otherwise you can try stopping and restarting the driver.

In Linux that is what you do in general. An rmmod/insmod combination
reloads the module and rescans the bus in the process.
