Legato Error Message
|
|
|
| Hi,
When I tried to backup a few mount points in UNIX Solaris 2.6 using
Legato 5.5, I encountered the following message:-
* prd.co.my:/oca/ocaprd 1 retry attempted
* prd.co.my:/oca/ocaprd savepnpc: WISS error, duplicate key found in
node pages of the B-tree
* prd.co.my:/oca/ocaprd savepnpc: shutdown failed
Thanks & Best Regards.

First thing to do is:
nsrck
followed by
nsrck -L6

Hi, Mark,
Thanks for the reply.
I have done the following:-
# nsrck
nsrck: checking index for tim-hq3.timelec.co.my
nsrck: completed checking 1 client(s)
Unfortunately, I couldn't execute the "nsrck -L6" due to the
Legato Version I have is 5.5. Here is the message: -
# nsrck -L6
usage: nsrck [ -qM ] [ -T tempdir ] [ -X [ -x percent ] | -C | -F | -m
| -c ] [ clientname ... ]
Any alternative ?
Thanks & Best Regards.

Ok, damn... version 5.5... I cannot remember the details for nsrck in
version 5.5
Could you check the man page and it should specify different options for
nsrck -L
You want the option that does full checks and rebuild of the index.
Also, how much tape/index data do you have?
You could possibly, install networker from scratch and restore the database
from backup. ( Make sure you have the latest known good bootstrap printout!)
