I have rently formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP.I reinstalled all my prgrammes i.e printer etc with cds without problem.Very shortly after my floppy drive and both cd rom drives show the message D:/ is not accessible.Incorrect function.
The CD roms can play audio and all drives seem to work in Safe mode and WINDOWS states all drives are working correctly. If I leave a CD in the D drive and restart the PC the cd drive is accessible. Can anyone throw any light on this problem as I am at my wit's end?
