Hello,

I've heard conflicting answers to this question and couldn't decide
where's the truth is, despites an extensive googling time.

What's the maximum number of supported/available LUNs on a Linux
box? Does this depends of the kernel version?

By "LUN" I mean LUN exported by some disk array (EMC=B2, HDS...)
I'm aware of the "max_scsi_luns" kernel parameter but the maximum
value is sometimes 8, sometimes 128, sometimes 256... As we will
deal with a big amount of To, this could be a concern and I'd like
to be sure the Linux box will be abble to access all needed LUNs.

Thanks in advance for any answers/informations on this topic.
