| Hello,
i'd like to implement the following scenario:
there is a server who has to have multiple ip adresses.
Each of the adresse must be capable to present shares to the network.
All the storage is on only one NAS.
Target is here that i am able to give access to the specific shares
via a VLAN using the different IP-adresses.
It is planned as a high security filer with access division on
specific
file types.
Example:
So if one client wants to connect on share A wich is hosted together
with share
B one the server FILER (10.10.10.1) (but distributed on the network on
IP 10.10.10.2 (virtual server) also on the server FILER but on this IP
only alone reachable [share B not visible on \\10.10.10.2 but on
\\10.10.10.3] and otherwise share B visible on \\10.10.10.3 and so
on...
So can i give access to share A with a firewall solution over:
Station A (maybe 192.168.100.100) allow fileservices to 10.10.10.2 and
NOT (!) to 10.10.10.1 ...
The solution has to be dynamic (hey - anything else would be too easy,
wouldnt it?)
And now - after a lot of air was moved around ;-) -
the question:
What solution (Win or Linux or smthing else) is capable to do that???
PLZ help - i've spent a lot of time searching...
Thanks in advance
Tino
