Hi David,

I just joined this thread about fireproof safes, so I may be a bit
behind... But there are several products on the market for your
specific interest. If you want to have a fireproof tape backup I
recommend the Schwab DataFORTRESS, a complete fireproof safe that can
hook directly up to your existing server or be custom fitted with the
tape or disc drive of your choice. Fireproof data storage that can be
kept on-site, saving you costly monthly fees.

It has a UL 72 Fire rating, so it will keep an internal temperature
below 125 Degrees, saving your computer data. As long as the safe has a
UL 125 or UL 72 Rating you will be okay for preserving your computer
data.
