Hi,

when reading data from Legato 7.1.2 on Linux SuSE 8.2, using a STK L20
+ LTO Ultrium 1 I get this error:

"Cannot decode block. Verify the device configuration. Tape
positioning by record is disabled."

Device is configured for blocksize=512kb (mt -f /dev/nst0 status
reports that), device on Legato is configured for blocksize=512 (in
the device properties). I also set the blocksize in the stinit.def
file (found on Legato site).

Howto solve this problem?

Thanks!
