I have a tape library that has '3495K' tapes? What is the
capacity of these tapes and where (IBM?) can I read more
about the tape charactistcs?

Hello Mike,
Are you sure about the 3495K tapes?
As far as I know the 3495 is a Magstnar tape library which can
contain 3490 tapedrives.
Maybe on the following link you can find more info:

The Magstar 3495 Tape Library has an actual capacity of 5,660 to 6,440
cartridges allowing for a theoretical capacity of 13 to 194 terabytes of
data.
