Recommend? LAN backup solution for disaster recovery

| Hi,
(I'm a newbie to this group. If I should be posting elsewhere, please
let me know where.)
I have a LAN with 3 PCs running Windows XP. At the moment I plug a USB
drive into each PC separately and run a Dantz Retrospect backup, which
gives me disaster recovery.
I want a solution that will let me connect an external drive direct to
the LAN and backup all 3 PCs, not just for file backup but for full
disaster recovery of any of the PCs. I expect each PC will need its own
bootable Disaster Recovery CD, but after that I'd like to be able to
complete the recovery over the network.
Please can you recommend a solution. (I'm more interested in robustness
and ease-of-use than cheapness.)
Thanks,
Paul.

Easiest (and cheapest) thing for you to do would be to get a USB
Server, attach it directly to the LAN at the Router, and use that to
back up each machine to a big USB drive. It will also allow you to
share a USB printer, or any other USB device.
The caveat is that you can only access the drive from one machine at a
time, and have to log off each machine to get access from another.
I use a Keyspan USB Server with WinXP on our home network to b/u my pc
and my wife's pc using Acronis True Image 9.0, a great tool for full
system image backups... Did have a few driver issues, but once I
upgraded the firmware of the Keyspan server, they cleared up.
Good luck
