Hi all,

One of our clients in the managed hosting space with data centers
nationwide has an immediate need for a Support Engineer with expertise
in Backup and Storage technologies - especially Veritas Backup
Products. This is a customer facing role, so previous experience
supporting customers is highly desirable.

The position is full-time permanent based in Denver and the
compensation is highly competitive. The company is an excellent place

Support Engineer Backup/Storage- Denver, Colorado

4+ years overall experience with at least the last 1 =BD years focused
on providing technical support in a complex technology environment that
includes:

Veritas NetBackup - version 3.4 or greater
Veritas Backup Exec
Windows (2003 & 2000) and UNIX (Solaris) operating systems
Multiple versions of Oracle and SQL Sever databases
Microsoft Exchange (2003 & 2000)
Citrix XP and Metaframe servers
Clustered servers
SAN and NAS technologies

Position requires in-depth knowledge of designing, implementing,
troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise backup and recovery
strategies and experience with multiple backup media. Demonstrated
experience with data archiving concepts and strategies and defining and
maintaining multiple schedules tailored to the requirements and
specification of individual customers. Knowledge of Windows and UNIX
(Solaris) operating systems is required with configuration and settings
experience. Knowledge of complex networks is required with the ability
to analyze and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
