Author Will a Compaq Storage System U2 accept a fibre channel raid controller?

I have a Compaq Storage System U2 SCSI drive rack (12 bay) that
currently has a wide-ultra I/O card with two separate channels, each
controlling 6 drives, but allows the creating of a single 12 drive
RAID.

I have seen that Compaq's 4100 series drive rack seems to use a very
similar form-factor of controller card, albiet a fibre channel RAID
controller instead of a straight SCSI I/O board.

Does anyone know if I can use one of these fibre channel controllers
(part # 204069-001) to connect my U2 drive rack to a fibre channel
SAN?

Thanks for any advice...

-Kevin
