hi,
i have connected autoloader (hp dat 40) to suse 9.0 system. (SUSE LINUX
Enterprise Server 9 (i586) - Kernel 2.6.8-24.14-smp (2)).

my backup software is not able to handle properly early EOD warning for suse
9 & RH 4.0.
it works fine for lower versions. i.e suse 8 or RH 3.0 for same device.(same
device firmware & drivers)
is there any changes in SCSI subystem for SUSE 9 or RH 4.0 ??

here what is happening is write() system call returns -1 and error code 28
(No space left on device).
after this ioctl( MTIOCGET) doesnt indicate it EOD so my backup software
treats this as media error and aborts backup.?

anyone faced this problem??any inputs ??

thanks in advance..
Regards,
Vijay
