Anyone know what it sells for? I'm trying not to get vendors spun up
since i'm only in the info gathering and feasibility stage.

Thanks.

This is a very generic statement it all depends on on what VAR you buy
through, are your buying it from OEM SUN, DELL, bundled with storage
subsystems etc.. how many ports/blades do you need, are you in the
goverment, educational sector etc.. There is really no fixed price for the
brocade 12K, your best bet is to formalize some rigorous RFP process, if you
really want to get the best quote possible.

You could always ask Gartner... they see lots of responses to RFPs and
should be able to give you a ballpark figure. They charge for this,
but I don't know how much.

As Roderick said, the price you pay often depends on who you are, what
you're buying and who you're dealing with.

Right. I guess I was more asking what other people have purchased it
for or heard it being purchased for.

Ballpark figure for a minimal config, entry setup. I know it varies,
I'm looking for rough numbers, plus or minus 20% is fine.
