Position: Storage Engineers (4)
Location: Remote, Virtual Office (must be willing to travel
on-site)
Length: 1 year /option for additional time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $ OPEN based on skills and Exp - plus expenses
Overview:
The candidate needs to have a broad understanding that will be needed
to perform implementations of new existing storage arrays. Skills with
high end storage systems preferred, particularly EVA {(Enterprise
Virtual Array}, fiber channel switches such as Brocade and backup
technologies such as Legato or Veritas. The position calls for someone
with excellent technical skills combined with the necessary
communication, presentation skills necessary in a consulting
engagement. This position has long term potential and travel will be
required within the region.
Requirements:
Must have exp implementing, configuring and modifying High-End Storage
Systems
Must have SAN Design and Implementation experience using products from
various vendors in at least one of the following areas:
SAN Infrastructure (HP, EMC, Brocade, McData, Cisco, etc)
SAN-based Tape Backup Solutions (Veritas, Legato, Data Protector
Computer Associates, Tape Libraries, Storage Routers)
Disaster Recovery Solutions using inter-site data replication. (HP
Continuous Access , EMC SRDF, Compaq DRM)
Conceptualizing and setting Disk subsystems, Design and implement EVA
based SAN solutions for the Enterprise Disk and Tape infrastructure.
Must have significant documentation and training experience for the
operational staff.
