I was just wondering for those of you who have HP, or HDS environments,
I know they are going to appiq. As I understand it though, appiq has
no tools for doing LUN level performance monitoring, cache monitoring
on the SAN, or tools to initiate things like true copy, snapshots, etc.

Will you have to use the old hitachi tools and interfaces to probe the
systems in depth and just use appiq for monitoring and basic
provisioning? We have both appiq and Hitachi SANs, but I haven't heard
anything on the deeper functionality because we're working on other
problems with the interface.
