Four new Storage Networking User Groups (SNUGs) recently formed in
Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and New York. SNUGs are
communities of data storage technology users who hold face-to-face
meetings to discuss mutual challenges and learn from technology experts
in a vendor-neutral, education-focused environment. There are no
membership dues, and meetings are open to all those interested in
learning more about the effective application of data storage
technology. SNUGs currently exist in 23 cities across North America.

SNUGs are affiliated with StorageNetworking.org, a university of
California San Diego-based initiative addressing the educational needs
of data storage technology professionals. The initiative supports
SNUGs, hosts an online resource portal, and facilitates the expansion
of university-based educational offerings focused on data management
issues. www.storagenetworking.org.
