Experience with QNAP TS-101/201 and Synology CS-406e

| Hi everybody,
I'm currently in the decision-phase for my home-NAS. My requirements are:
500GB Raid1 (2*500)
CIFS
TwonkyServer (or equivalent)
if possible: NFS (this one seems to be a little hard to get, so this is not
a must)
low Power consumption.
Looking throug all the available devices finally two directions are left to
go:
1. QNAP TS-101/201
2. Synology CS-406e .
Somehow I wasn't really able to find any user-reports on those two devices
somewhere to help me with my decision.
So, has anybody out there experiences with either of the systems and would
recommend to buy it - or even to stay away from it...
.... or maybe there is some other device I should look into ???
Thanks for any help !
Carsten

Hallo Carsten,
zkauudrkyqxl [at] spammotel [.] com
wirklich ankommt. Deshalb dachte ich
bevor ich unnoetig (lange) auf Response warte,
versuche ich es auf diesem Weg.
Deshalb bei Interesse (was ich sehr hoffe)
BITTE eine E-Mail an
host1980.news [@] googlemail [.] com
Danke
