I need to come out with a very generic test script for the cluster test. Such as what test will be carried up, how to simulate the case, what is the behaviour of cluster when respective test carried up, behaviour of application (any impact to the running application, and will there be data loss? need to restart the application?).
Here is the detail of the hardware architecture:
. 1 HP Integrity Rx4640 Server
· 2x Madison 1.6Ghz Processor
· 8GB Memory
--> for Oracle DB Server and ODS & ODW Oracle DB Server (failover)
. 1 HP N4000-75 Server
· 6x PA8700 750MHz Processor
· 8GB Memory
OR
1 HP Superdome Server
· 8x PA8700 750MHz Processor
· 16GB Memory
--> DB server
2 X HP BL35p Blade
--> reporting web server
EMC Symmetrix DMX10000
32 x 146GB (2TB Raid 1)
28 x 300GB (5TB Raid 5)
-->Storage Array Network (SAN)
2 HP Proliant BL p-Class Server Bladed Enclosure
-->blade enclosure
Please help to guide me, so far i manage to come out SRDF test script. Please help me for cluster test script. Many thank.
