Hello folks...My company recently purchased a centera with hopes of
utilizing KVS as the email archiving solution on the front end of this
device.

Does anyone run this combination? And if so, can you point me in the
direction of any technotes, experiences or pitfalls that I can hope to
encounter with this type of config combo?

Thanks

Fred

I've used commvaults data migrator
([http://www.commvault.com/migration_and_archiving.asp] - equivalent of
KVS) with centera with no problems. worked with out of the box. not
sure about anything specific to KVS.

I'm not sure if you have already made the investment in the KVS solution,
but I would recommend looking at Legato EmailXtender.

I do know that there are many successful implementations of KVS and Centera.
Do you have a systems integrator that has knowledge in this area? If not,
let me know and I can point you in the right direction. My company just
implemented two Centera's and the Legato product for our Exchange
environment. It rocks! There is no impact to the way we see email in
exchange using Outlook or the OWA.
