Hi... As I'd indicated in a previous thread, we recently purchased a
FAS960c Filer... we spent about $30K per shelf which hosts 2 TB of
total data (1.3 TB of usable data after RAID).

That is roughly $15K per TB direct cost to us.

My question is, should I expect that price to go down next year due to
dropping storage costs?

I just cant see NetApp asking us for less money next year when we want
to buy a new shelf... Is it the case that the shelf can hold more data
and NetApp charges the same amount per shelf?
