Currently pursuing Redhat Linux administration as well as EMC Proven
professional examination.
I have almost 11 years of technical expertise in Unix systems
administration, SAN administration ( Especially in managing EMC
products) , Network Monitoring and management softwares like HP
Openview NNM & HP Operations, Enterprise Backup Infrastructure design
and management using HP Data protector,Legato networker and strong
hardware support and troubleshooting skill sets.
My area of expertise is very wide and rare to find. I am extremely
confident in managing any kinds of systems running mission critical
applications as I have been working throughout my career on 24X7
on-call basis carrying pager and cell phone all the time. I have more
than 10 years of very strong epxerience on HP-UX and More than 5 years
on IBM AIX 5.x administration. My recent experience also includes
Redhat Linux and IBm Blade center hardware support and maintenance.
My total experience on storage is more than 6-7 years on EMC symettrix,
DMXs and ClariiONs. I am also highly experienced in EMC software tools
like COntrol Center, TimeFinder, SRDF, Workload Analyzer, SymCLI,
Navisphere ( to manage Clariions) etc. Apart from EMC products I have
worked on Hitachi as well as HP's Disk arrays ( xp512 and 1024). AS far
as small storage products concerned, I have worked on HP's FC and SC
diskarrays, IBM's FastT900,600 disk arrays, Sun's D1000 disk arrays.
My job expertise comprises working for various well known big companies
like Hewlett packard ( Massachusettes, USA), Telcordia technologies (
Formerly Bell CORE at Piscataway, NJ),
Pella corporation ( Pella, IOWA, USA the second largest doors and
windows manufacturer in USA), Neustar Inc ( The only company which
manages Telephone number portability for USA and Canada) and CMC
Limited ( A govt. of India Enterprises, India).
