Does anyone know the best way to backup (or synchronize) backup exec
archives from harddisk to tape?

I've thought about doing the exact same backup to tape, that I run to
the harddrives, but this seems like twice the work.. then again..
doing a backup file of a backup file, results in twice the work when
restoring the tape data.

What is the best practice that most do on this.. I'm guessing maybe
just the backup inside the backup (onto tape), as a restore from tape
would be rare, given the immediate availability of the backup
harddrive server unless a natural disaster occurs....

IE: Is there anyway within Symantec to just do a synch. of folders
from the backuptofolder location to the tape?

Thanks
