I've got a logitech trackball with wheel, and am using a Belkin KVM. The
imps/2 driver has never worked for me. If I change computers then change
back the mouse pointer will start to jump all over the place. The solution
to this has been to use the regular ps2 mouse driver, which seemed to work
fine. However after installing the latest debian ( sarge ) the driver
seemed to do the same jumping. I noticed during a boot that thje imps/2
driver was being installed. So I have two questions.

1) How can I tell which driver is installed?
2) How can I change to the appropriate driver?
