Audio Output Device Is Busy playing Protected DVDs
|

| [Crossposted to a few linux groups]
Is it just me? I've noticed that when I play discs with Sony/Archos
protection all my DVD playing software gets confused selecting the audio
channel and in Kaffeine I get 'Audio Output Device is Busy'.
Occasionally they will play (skillping the first chapter sometimes does
it), but usually not.
I've Googled around but not seen this error message directly linked to the
DVD copy protection, so I've x-posted here.
I guess the means we cant even PLAY commercial dvds soon!
Are these dvds in keeping with the DVD Standard?

I've run into this with xine, in the past. I was able to play the dvd
with mplayer.
