ok, although ive read these forums before and have always despised those who apologize before hand for their post, i am now in their shoes and can sympathize with their ignorance.

i have never used linux before, let alone the debian 3.1 distro. now i find myself being forced to learn linux in order to set up an ftp server. although this is actually a welcomed surprise due to the fact ive always been curious about linux, i dont have a clue where to start.

so all of you that are regulars here, youll be seeing me (newby) popping up quite a bit.

i was just wondering if anyone can give me some direction on finding some good sites for setup tutorials and any other helpful 'debian' guides/tools.
