How to create shortcut to shell to run slrn

How do I got about setting up a shortcut on the kde desktop to run a shell which contains slrn? Is this even what I want to be doing for a tty app?

I hade hoped to just link to the application "slrn" in the shortcut settings but nothing comes up when I run it like this.
