Ntfs write support

| Hi,
does anyone explain to me what is actually the support-status for the NTFS?
I've a debian/sarge box with kernel-image-2.6.8-2-k7 installed (and
running). My PC is a dual boot (dabian and win2k pro) and I would like
to write into windows partitions, is it possible (I've already mounted
them in /etc/fstab but in ro mode)? How about the risks?
I also have installed ntfstools package...but I don't know if it's
usefulf fo my purposes.
Thanks and bye
P.S.: Sorry if my questions are too commons but I'm new in this NG and I
tryed to search for answers in google/groups without success.

Try using captive-ntfs.
NTFS write support provided by the kernel is very limited.
Best regards, Andrea.
