Linux Debian support - kde shortcuts on gnome

hi
im happily running ubuntu hoary preview on my amd64 machine.
I have just one problem i can't solve: i have kde 3.4-pre and if i
create shortcuts on kde i have the same ones under gnome, and
vice-versa. It's very chaotic and i would like to solve it but i
haven't been able to do googling or surfing the net.
Any suggestions?
