Hi,

I have the ipw2200 wlan chipset (with the 1.0.4 version of the driver,
which supports monitor-mode) and I want to use kismet with it. I
have the version 2005.04.R1 of kismet. In the kismet.conf I have set
"source=ipw2200,eth1,wlan". But each time, when I start kismet, I obtain
the following error message:
FATAL: Unknown capture source type 'ipw2200' in source 'ipw2200,eth1,wlan'

Could it be that kismet (in my version) doesn't support the ipw2200
chipset? If so, is there an other chipset that I can set as sourcetype?
Or supports a newer version of kismet the ipw2200 chipset?

Best regards
Sebastian Noack
