Dear all,

Maybe my suggestion is stupid and I totally missed something, if that
is the case please enlight me.

Since certain piece of code are not in Debian due to patent violation
(bladeenc for instance if I am correct), and since in certain
countries (Europe) there are no such software-patents, why doesn't
Debian propose packages tagged similarly as the non-free or non-US
ones, which violates patent, and thus should be dowloaded only in
patent-free countries ?

Cheers,
