Hi

Thanks for the HOWTO. I have been looking for something like this for a
while now.

However, may I ask why are you using considerably older versions of
util-linux ?

When I tried to install util-linux (after removing the installed version of
util-linux), install failed with :

install -d -m 755 /usr/bin /usr/share/man/man1 /usr/share/misc/getopt
Bad switch -d

man install shows that -d is a valid option. What do you think I should do ?
Really, using PAM with Slackware is turning out to be a headache. Should I
migrate this machine to Debian ?
