Greetings:

I am setting up a Sarge box to act as a mail and web server. I would like
to know how I should set up proftpd so I can login from the LAN only and
upload files into various web server directories. FTP is blocked by my
firewall so external intrusion on this front is not an issue. What do I
need to do as far as directory/file permissions and owner:group
relationships? How should I configue proftpd? Any advice is appreciated.
BTW - I'm a former slacker so this granularity in configuring stuff is a bit
new to me.
