Hi all,

I just inserted a PCI IDE raid card that is recognized at both
the hardware level and the install level of debian. But, it
doesn't get assigned a point that can be pointed to for the
fdisk program. The hd connected to the motherboard is
/hda but the two 250G hd's connected to the pci raid card
do not have a designation. In dmesg it shows
[490....} SiIL680 PCI controller card at address 0000:00:0d.0
but that is as far as it goes. Can't partition it, can't "see" it at the
OS level. Any ideas?

thanks,
charles....
