Hmm. Are you logged in as root? Does the script have proper permissions?
That ati-installer.sh needs to show at least one x if you do 'ls -l'.
That error also shows up when you try to run a Linux executable on a
mounted file system that isn't native to Linux. Or maybe the file system
is mounted in fstab with 'noexec' the way some separate home partitions
are. Also, if there is something in the top of the file with the wrong
path to, say Perl.
