anyone using dsl and verizon?

i am in the early stages of setting it up?

studying /etc/share/docs/ppp/readme.gz debian

seems rather simple
any help quidance is appreciated

Make sure your network card is not configured to use any static IP
address or gateway (/etc/network/interfaces, man interfaces). Run
pppoeconf.
